Operations Manager

Training Regions International AB is going through a phase where we are looking into hire further competent employees. The opened position is operations manager.  As operations manager, you will initially work with all parts of the company and then get a more explicit responsibility in one of our scopes of practice: the development of the arena activities, the development of concepts and standards or business intelligence.

The company is not profit-driven; instead it is created to manage the non-profit organization’s operations and activities. The company has the same board of directors as the non-profit organization and Training Regions Research Centre.

Working in Training Regions will mean that you will work as “a spider in the network” and you will be working with private-businesses, municipalities, universities and government agencies, both national and international.

For this position, you are expected to be able to make contacts at various levels, both in business and in public. Furthermore, you should have an interest in the development of security in cities and regions, especially in terms of the vital urban flows. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement.

For this position, we expect you to have a relevant academic degree in engineering, business/economics, law, urban planning or city architect. You should be motivated and willing to work in an international environment. It is an advantage to have experience in working in any of the following areas: urban planning, municipal administration, assignments to municipal clients, international experience, consultancy or what you may consider relevant to the further development of Training Regions.
